Detailed Programme
It gives us great pleasure to announce the detailed programme for FLOODrisk 2016 is now available to download on the FLOODrisk 2016 website here. We have combined 232 presentations, 9 poster sessions, 8 special sessions, 19 keynote speakers, 2 technical tours, a welcome reception and conference dinner into 4 full days to give you the very best flood risk management experience of 2016.

The sessions will run with up to 6 in parallel at any one time with special sessions providing a more interactive approach to the topics. The parallel sessions may have up to 6 presentations at one time giving you up to 18 presentations in a day as well as keynote speeches and posters.
Keynote Speeches
To encapsulate our international theme we have brought together keynote speakers from around the world. They will share with you experiences and impacts of flooding, management of flooding and policies implemented to deal with flooding.
Special Sessions
FLOODrisk 2016 will not be a conference of presentations alone. We have teamed up with leading FRM projects and organisations to bring you interactive sessions led by experts in the field. Technical Tours
Once the conference has ended, and after being inspired by its numerous presentations and findings, you will not want to miss the great examples of modern day flood risk in practice that you can find in and around the host city of Lyon and the nearby city of Grenoble. FLOODrisk2016 has compiled two tours, which provide a unique chance to see French science and policy in action.

Exhibition
There will be an exhibition hall including 39 exhibition stands of prominent worldwide FRM solutions providers (to see the full list of exhibitors, click here) where we will be taking lunches and coffee breaks.
